Indications

  • Hypotension with bradycardia

Contraindications

  • Severe CAD
  • MAOI use

  • Tachycardia
  • Tachyphylaxis
  • HTN

Clinical Pearls

1Useful when both pressure and rate are low; less first-line at C-section due to fetal acidosis (vs phenylephrine).
